Monday, April 6 was a 'driving day'. We left Crescent City and drove 749 km to Olympia Washington on our way back to Vancouver. The plan was to photograph in the Skagit Valley the next day but a consultation with the Tulip Festival website told us there were lots of daffodils in bloom but no tulips. We like the daffodils so we decided to take a little time before moving on the Vancouver.
As you can see ... there were daffodils and some tulips as well. The major tulip fields are still at least a week from blooming but Tulip Town had some early varieties ready for us. We had a great time as the photographs suggest.
