We were in Charlevoix on Friday, September 26 and drove north, across the Saguenay River (by ferry), to spend  some time in Saguenay. In fact, we were also in Manigougan but that was (almost) by accident.
We are ignoring that fact. Oh yeah, we are getting colour!
Most of the photographs below are June's.
It was 24C today!
That's ridiculous,
but very nice.
On Saturday the 27th, as predicted, it rained. It was raining when we got out of bed and it was still raining when we left Auberge Petite Madeleine about 10:30 am. In spite of the rain we had a great 'shooting day'. We had plastic bags for the cameras (Tom's was a newspaper delivery bag, June's was from the LCBO) and we were careful ... but the colour was, in places, outstanding. It took us 4.5 hours to drive the 170km to Jonquiere. We are now nice and dry in the Holiday Inn.
