Zabriskie Point is, for most photographers, the definitive photograph from Death Valley. We planned on an 'early morning' shoot (no, not dawn!) and arrived at about 7:00 am, after a drive of almost 45 minutes. Just as we got to Zabriski the cloud cover moved in. Ugh! But patience is rewarded sometimes. We stayed for about an hour and had several good breaks in the cloud cover ... and got our photography done before the buses arrived!

For those who are interested: This photograph was taken with Tom's Sigma 10-20mm 'superwide' lens. This image is at 11mm ... the 35 mm equivalent of about 16mm ... and then had a (software) lens correction for distortion and cropping to this shape.
