We came into Joshua Tree via the South Entrance about 2 pm on Monday, Feb 23.
About 4 pm we got to the Cholla Garden area, with great light, and photographed there until close to 5 pm.
The next morning we came into the park via the West Entrance, about 10 am, and shot until about 3:30. This time we were in the area full of Joshua Trees ... and went to the Keys Lookout where we could see the San Andreas Fault, along with many miles of towns and cities. We chatted with other Canadians from Winnipeg and The Gulf Islands near Victoria BC. ...Had a little 'reunion', eh!
