This is our second visit to Quebec's Iles-de-la-Madeleine, the islands in the Gulf of the St Lawrence ... a 5 hour ferry ride from Prince Edward Island. We were here In 2006 along with Sue and Jim Curtis. This time we have 6 full days to photograph (weather permitting).

When we got up this morning it was grey, overcast and 9C.  After breakfast we decided to photograph on Ile de Havre Aubert ... the island we are staying on, the furthest south of the group. June decided she'd concentrate on houses (such marvellous colours!) bur she did other shooting as well. Tom opted for wildflowers and grasses. So that's most of what you'll see from our drive around the island.
We had lunch in the le Grave area at Cafe le Grave.
After lunch we had lots of sunshine (up to 10C!) so we photographed in this area. You'll see some texture stuff.
